Dubai Chambers and Assolombarda signed a memorandum of understanding on 1 October 2026 to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between businesses in Dubai and Italy. The agreement was reported by Agenparl and announced by Assolombarda.
The memorandum envisages business delegations, joint events and exchanges of expertise. It also includes cooperation between the Dubai Centre for Family Businesses and Assolombarda’s family business network.
According to figures published by the organisations, non-oil trade between Dubai and Italy reached AED 51.1 billion in 2025, an increase of 18% over 2024. The Dubai Chamber of Commerce counted 1,700 active Italian member companies at the end of 2025; another 160 joined in the first half of 2026.
The agreement sets a framework for dialogue and introductions between business communities. Any resulting commercial or investment project would require its own assessment, agreements and implementation steps.
Thaddeus International Investment Consultant is reporting this development as business news. It is not a signatory or participant in the Dubai Chambers–Assolombarda agreement.
